Can Computers Fly---update

Lo & behold it was not my computer at all. Makes me feel much better knowing it's out internet provider but now we are left with, just when will it all be fixed? It's a great pain in the a** to be paying over $50 a month for what they advertise as high speed internet when in reality it is worth no more than $10 a month. Come to find out, as rural customers we can't expect high speed as townies get. Hmmm....something wrong there.If we can't expect it, then why are we paying the same as those that do? When it comes to big corporations, as with government agencies, we the little people never seem to win. One thing I will be doing is calling for a rebate in my monthly fee b/c for a month or more the service has been b-a-d! There's that technology thing again....it's supposed to make our lives easier, faster more uncomplicated...a big fat HA HA to that! I've never worked with anything more frustrating than a computer hooked to the internet!
