Here it is...the 1st long weekend of the summer. I just wish the weather would co-operate! We are so waiting for some NICE weather. There were a couple nice days this week where it actually got above 45 degrees (F) but for the middle of May, I like a lot of people still have a wood fire in the mornings or evenings! Ridiculous! And the wind here is just crazy! They always say Chicago is the windy city, well, Chicago doesn't have nuthin' on us! Today I hear it's going to rain & then rain off & on for the next 3 days at least. Grrrr. As far as the holiday goes, not much of anything going on for me. Just a bit of extras time to do more spring cleaning or garden work.
By the way, did anyone see that huge full moon the other night? It was fantastic! I seen it in the early morning when it was foggy at dawn & the moon shining thru the fog was a gorgeous sight. If only i had a decent camera where i could take a pic of something like that. The pics i did get do not show the moon well enough. Ahh someday.
