Every July i go to Bluesfest at Fox Mountain. It's the only holiday i ever go on & it's now a tradition. A bunch of us meet up & camp together for the weekend. It's an absolute blast!!! I love the Blues & this weekend is filled with awesome Canadian Blues bands & artists. Local talent? We got it in spades!!!
This is a video i took of Curtis Matheson, a young Blues artist, who, the minute i heard him he went to the top of my favs list! Here, he is playing a cigar box guitar made by DB Customs & playing along is the Terry Whalen Band. This guy can play! & man can he SING! The video isn't one of my best, (taken with my cell phone) & excuse the background voices, etc. but it's the only one of him that i got.
